How To Get Ms Paint On Windows 8
The problem I have is there's no "help" or "right click to figure out what things do" in the app. It'southward full trial and error, and maybe if I were 5 like my grandson, I'd be able to figure it out. In that location are choices on the top of the screen, and more than choices/icons on the bottom. The camera on the bottom opens upward the 'real' camera on my figurer, simply at that place'due south no 'click here to take a picture' (non to mention I have no thought what to exercise with one. I'd rather see a tutorial of some sort than take to keep wading through forums to become a question answered. As for 'dropdown' I have no idea where that is? The superlative menu? The lesser menu. Windows 8 is hardly intuitive, and the apps, while great in theory, don't take enough data provided for how to use them.

I downloaded the Fresh Paint app and tin not find out how to do anything. In erstwhile Paint I could draw lines and circle that were straight. I can find absolutely nothing on the new version that does this. All it has are complimentary hand painting. It is difficult to draw a squeamish straight line or circle costless paw.

May I inquire where these capabilities are located?. Or doesn't the new version exercise whatever of this?. But free hand painting/cartoon?.

I totally agree. Even my fourteen twelvemonth old who is working with computers everyday at schoolhouse is having problem understanding how to not but use these programs, merely so explain them then that her dad and I sympathize and tin work the computer for ourselves. Plus we seem to take a bug on our reckoner where it won't offer/allow me to prepare the right fourth dimension on the computer itself. My apologies, I've been away on holiday break. Earthworks through the forums, I meet a couple recurring questions. I hope to help alleviate some frustrations:
Windows 8 is very touch-centric, but at that place are keyboard/mouse backups for the interactions.
- In Windows 8 it'south called "edgy." It takes a bit of getting used to, just once you go the hang of it it's quite nice. But swipe down from the peak of your screen and the menus will announced. If you lot are using a mouse you lot tin can right click.

Indeed, Paint is the "regular ol' Paint" whereas Fresh Paint is the new, realistic painting simulation. Each awarding has its own strengths and weaknesses. Paint is bang-up for drawing lines and circles using their tools. Fresh Paint is keen for finger or brush painting to produce a realistic simulation of real oil on sail interactions.

I have read Jeff Herold'due south FAQ, and it is better than nothing.
The second "Reference" you included is a arrow to the app description, which I would hope anybody read before they downloaded the app (as information technology is really short).

There does not seem to be whatever fashion to open a file in Fresh Paint, other than in the Gallery. For example, I used my son's Surface Pro to have a photo of his bedroom, and took photos of all the potential colors we are going to utilise. I did a "Save As" of all of these into separate files with the intent of loading the chamber photo, applying the different colors, and so we could cull which colour we liked best. All "Save Equally" files are .png. A "right click" on a .png does not show Fresh Paint every bit an choice nether "Open up With", and I tin't observe the .exe to strength the issue. How can I open up a file in Fresh Pigment? BTW, I'yard using Windows 8.1...

I didn't get upset with my SURFACE WIN8, now 8.1, until this app! It looks awesome, but yous have to have ESP in guild to use information technology! Whether I'm using the bear on screen or the mouse pointer on the keyboard, I tin can't seem to get any info on what each object does! I bespeak to it, and nix. No finger, info box or anything! But the pointer arrow. I experience like I'm on Permit'S Brand A Deal. You lot don't know what it does until you click on it!
Am I that stupid that I should just dump this plan? I really idea it would exist great.
Or is there any hope of upcoming changes that will make this APP usable to the boilerplate person?
